Voluntary Service is all about volunteering, donations, and creating opportunities for all of us to give back, and CARE about our veterans.
Whether you wish to volunteer yourself, want to give your children or constituents an opportunity to volunteer and experience personal growth, or wish to donate materials or funding to benefit our veterans, we are the place to start.
Our volunteer program covers all aspects of the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare Program: healthcare, all aspects of patient care, administration, business practice, safety & protection, & the care and design of our buildings and land. We seek to create volunteer positions that are rewarding and purposeful for all our volunteers.
Voluntary Service is also the official depository for all donated funds to benefit veterans, as well as donations in general. As with all donations, suitability will be determined by using guidance developed by local leadership. Please call our office and ask for help if you're unsure about whether a donation can be used by our healthcare system.
Voluntary has offices at three sites in the GLA system: West Los Angeles (Building 258), Sepulveda (Building 20), and LAAC (Downtown). Volunteers can volunteer at any of our GLA clinics, however, of which there are 12 locations throughout Los Angeles and Ventura County. Veterans need and deserve the best we can give them, no matter where they are located, so contact us and we will help you find a way to give back.
"To the world you may be one person;
But to one person you may be the world."
We stand ready to help you make that difference.
