GLA Flu Shot

GLA will start giving Flu Shots to enrolled patients beginning October 15, 2012.

GLA advises offering vaccinations beginning in October, as this ensures maximum immunity during the peak CA Flu season (December through March). While patients may notice community stores giving flu shots now, waiting until October will ensure maximum immunity. As in previous years, GLA will only use a “preservative free” vaccine. GLA will not be using “High Dose” flu vaccine. Patients should direct personal health questions to their Primary Care Provider or PACT. GLA does not use the nasal spray vaccine.

All updates will be posted on this page as well as our Facebook and Twitter pages.
