VA Holds Sepulveda Homeless Veteran Town Hall Event
July 17, 2015
LOS ANGELES - VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) will be holding a Town Hall event on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Recreation Hall (building 22) at the Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center. The Town Hall event provides an opportunity for VAGLAHS to engage Veteran stakeholders in a collaborative way and identify challenges, improve operations and build trust among Veteran patients, their families and the community.
"Caring for Veterans is a calling, and our first commitment is to provide Veterans and their families the timely, quality care and benefits they have earned and deserve through their service to our Nation," said Secretary McDonald. "As we seek continual improvement and to rebuild trust among Veterans, it is critical that we continue to listen and learn directly from those who use our system."
The event is open to all members of the public, including Congressional stakeholders, Veterans Service Organizations, state and local governmental and non-governmental organizations, and other community partners.
